Hot Steam in the depth

The Kenyan Geothermal Development Company (GDC) started to drill wells in the Menengai Caldera of the Central Rift Valley with a high potential of hot steam to generate electricity in Februar 2011. Only few days later we visited the drilling site and saw how the works are in progress. The god news: they found hot steam of 10 MW on this first well. The drilling process is ongoing.
